Amarillo, Texas

We spent the last 3 days in Amarillo, Texas, due to bad weather. Two days before those pictures were taken a really bad snow storm hit us. The original plan was to stop in Amarillo for one night, maybe two, to see our friend Ryan (he was the former pastor at Seacoast grace) who happened to be moving there the same day we would be driving through. Ryan drove to Amarillo with his family and friends, Adrian and Gio. Adrian, Gio, Joel and I all got a room at the Days Inn down the street from Ryan's new home. Adrian and Gio were suppose to fly out of Amarillo the day that the storm rolled in, and we were planning on driving out that same day, but there flight was cancelled, and the I-40 was closed. so instead we got lunch with some of Ryan's new staff from the church that he will be pastoring at. After lunch two of the guys showed us around. we went sledding and did some doughnuts in a dirt parking lot. After sledding we were all freezing cold so we went back to our hotel and jumped in the jacuzzi.
The next morning Ryan showed us around his new church. It was the craziest church I have ever been inside (sorry I didn't take any pictures). let me just say this, their auditorium had a circle stage in the middle of the room and they have about 8,000 people that attend the church, crazy right? After getting the tour we parted ways, Joel and I went back to the hotel to take showers and a little nap before getting back on the road. But instead I woke up from my nap to a phone call from Ryan saying Adrian and Gio missed their flight. Joel and I were having a good time so we decided to stay in Amarillo and hang out with them another day. so this morning we went to church to watch Ryan get introduced the his new congregation and then we hit the road. We are currently in Wylie, Texas with Joels aunt and uncle.
